About Leggere Strutture Factory

Leggere Strutture Art Factory is a cultural hub dedicated to artistic and creative production, professional training, research, and the accessible and democratic dissemination of culture.

Based in Bologna, the center develops national and international projects and acts as a social and cultural reference point for the promotion of the arts, connecting local communities with a broader international vision.

Today, the organization offers professional training in contemporary dance and performing arts, theater activities, educational and recreational workshops for children, dance-theater programs for people with physical and motor disabilities and for professionals through the CorpoPoetico® method, as well as activities dedicated to seniors.

Founded in 2008, Leggere Strutture began its activities in a former industrial space transformed into a dance production center. Since then, it has taken part in numerous festivals and presented a wide range of live performances.

Leggere Strutture provides the ideal setting for professional training, artistic residencies, live performances, and cultural events, supporting encounters between emerging artists and established professionals

PROGRAM

ANFIBIA – A Fluid Ground for Contemporary Creation

ANFIBIA is a space of transformation, a living environment where artistic training becomes a radical practice, a daily act of research, and a political gesture. A transdisciplinary program that breaks down boundaries between dance, physical theatre, voice, music, circus arts, dramaturgy, and theoretical practices—giving life to autonomous, complex performers capable of generating hybrid works deeply rooted in their time.

Born from the desire to shape artists who can act with awareness on the contemporary stage, ANFIBIA is an active learning ecosystem: here, the body becomes a laboratory, the group a creative community, the stage a field for experimentation and vision. The program does not merely provide skills, but tools to inhabit uncertainty, expand languages, and traverse the present with a critical eye and a responsive body.

ANFIBIA unfolds through an intensive and dynamic calendar: daily physical practice, immersive modules, theoretical laboratories, practical explorations, and performative sharings intertwine in a dramaturgical flow that evolves alongside the participants. The training moves fluidly between technical work and poetic research, between discipline and intuition, between structure and creative impulse.
Each day is conceived as a time of opening—towards listening, risk, and transformation. Disciplines are not taught in parallel but constantly contaminate each other, generating new, unclassifiable, and fluid forms. The performer is not trained to replicate, but to build: visions, devices, questions.

Creation as a Necessary Act

The beating heart of the program is original creation. Each participant is guided, supported, and provoked to develop a personal or collective performative project—from the initial spark to public sharing. This organic, unstable, generative process becomes a tool for defining one’s own scenic voice, language, and urgency.
ANFIBIA believes in a form of training that shapes not only the gesture but the vision: that rare capacity to sense what does not yet exist, to create works that question the present—works that are fragile, powerful, contradictory.

Festivals and Networks

Since 2019, Spazio Crudo is a permanent platform dedicated to supporting local artists and the contemporary scene during the early stages of the creative process. Active throughout the year, it promotes structured research pathways through artistic residencies, rehearsal spaces, laboratories, showcases, previews, and festivals.

The project presents an annual program that alternates residencies with public showings, workshops, and national and international performances, with a strong focus on innovative and experimental artistic practices, including dialogue with emerging digital languages.

Spazio Crudo integrates research, training, and artistic production, contributing to the development of a creative ecosystem that encourages exchange between artists, communities, and audiences.

Since 2020, Leggere Strutture has curated the CRUDO Festival, a contemporary dance and performing arts festival held at Teatro Dehon and Teatro Laura Betti in Bologna.

The organization continuously collaborates with national and international artists, associations, and cultural institutions, fostering networks that strengthen connections between local professionals and global artistic communities.
